Part-Time, As-Needed, Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate of Pay: $16.25
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Head Start/Early Head Start Substitute. The ideal candidate will seamlessly fill in for our regular teacher, assistant teacher, or provide support as a temporary classroom aide. This role involves following a meticulously crafted curriculum and executing lesson plans to ensure our children get the best educational experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.):
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A substitute for the Teacher- Must have attained a AAS or BS/BA in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 24 credit hours of course work equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education, with experience teaching pre-school age children.
A substitute for the assistant teacher or acting as the temporary classroom aide must have attained high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
