New Age Services Inc. functions as a non-profit organization established in January 1991 with the aim to provide programs and resources for individuals with developmental disabilities in the Calgary Region. Our Services are highly individualized and tailored to the needs of each individual. We ensure client needs are met through a strong team approach where the client, guardian, frontline and management staff work together as partners.
What to expect in the role :
You will be working with a team in our "Community Access" program. On this team you will be supporting a variety of individuals and could be working out in the community, in their homes, or in our main facility in the NE. Individuals you support may have diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia, or other Mental Illness or developmental disorders. You will follow the individualized support plans for each individual to help them work towards and achieve their goals. The individuals you work with may require personal care, g-tube feedings, for you to drive and accompany them to medical appointments, or possibly assistance in their home with daily living tasks. Schedule & Compensation:
This position is based at our main facilities Calgary North East and is a permanent role offering 6 hours per week. The schedule is Sundays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Since driving is required for this position, we reimburse mileage at $0.50/km.
The starting pay rate for this position is $21.19 per hour.
All regular staff are eligible to pick up additional casual hours at any of our locations outside of their scheduled hours.
