Dietary Aide
Position Summary
The Dietary Aide/Server provides service in the dining department of the nursing home, assisted living, memory care and Independent Living. Maintains high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and neatness in assigned areas. Assists in food preparation. Reports to the Director of Food Services.
Skills and Abilities:
Will be trained in dietary equipment, as with the ability to learn operation of equipment and simple food preparation tasks as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and oral instructions. Previous Dietary Aide experience a plus but is not required.

While SJSL is a nonprofit corporation, SJSL must operate in a financially responsible manner to ensure its continued existence. Related, Employee acknowledges such, understand their responsibility to further SJS current and future business endeavors, and commits to safeguard SJSL’s reputation and judicially utilizes SJSL’s resources as if they were the Employee’s reputation and possessions.

Employee sets a good example for other employees, residents, families and visitors. The Employee is expected to present a positive, helpful, and collegial manner in working with others. Employee is to be accountable and responsible for work performed and for interactions with others.
