Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. The Delivery Driver will be required to operate a delivery vehicle, maintain accurate records of deliveries, and ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures. We are looking to fill multiple positions, therefore can offer casual, part time or full time employment, paying above award rates, for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities:
* Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
* Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
* Ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required
* Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Qualifications:
* Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
* Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to lift and carry heavy items
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
