Job Description
Overview:
The Architectural Controls Intern will assist the Architectural Coordinator and team in the review and management of architectural submissions for residential and multi-family homes in Brookfield communities. This role provides hands-on experience in architectural review, compliance, and coordination, while fostering relationships with builders and stakeholders.
The role will contribute to maintaining the quality and integrity of community designs by supporting inspections, database management, and communication with internal and external teams.

What You Bring:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Urban Planning, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of architectural design principles and an ability to read technical drawings (e.g., working drawings, grading plans).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or design software such as InDesign.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Familiarity with municipal by-laws and design guidelines is an asset.
