Essential Job Duties

Design, configure, install, and troubleshoot VOiP telephony and related systems.
Oversee the administration of Cisco and Extreme routers, switches, and related network hardware.
Proactively monitor the network for potential issues and work to prevent outages.
Lead the maintenance and troubleshooting of camera systems and access control systems.
Collaborate with Electrical team offering mentorship and training.
Engage with Airport Administration for high-level planning and complex problem resolution.
Create and update documentation on network infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
Spearhead network security initiatives and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
Lead network-related projects as required.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure the network infrastructure meets organizational needs.
Stay current with the latest network technologies and trends and recommend improvements.
Will be on-call for after-hours support and issue resolution as needed.
Subject to recall 24/7.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
Experience managing VOiP phones, access control, and camera systems.
Knowledge of network protocols, network security, and network infrastructure.
Experience with Cisco and Extreme networking devices is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret technical materials.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
