Profile of Kids@ Churchill Park - Parkside Child Care Centre:

  • Serving children ages 0 months to 6 years
  • Program runs 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - Monday to Friday
  • 5.25 hour shift, Monday to Friday for March to June.
  • 8.5 hour shift, Monday to Friday for July and August.
  • Location: 1407 7 Ave NW, Calgary, T2N 0Z3


Overview of Position:

This one on one support educator position requires a qualified Early Childhood Educator with experience in working with children in an inclusive setting. The educator will provide a program and supports for a child’s success in a preschool-age classroom. This position is under the terms of an FSCD (Family Supports for Children with Disabilities) contract.


Qualifications, Skills and Professional Attributes:

  • Alberta Child Care Certification Level 1 minimum
  • Valid First Aid Certificate and Security Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Experience and knowledge in working with children with special needs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision making skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with families, co-workers and management
  • Demonstrated team work abilities and flexibility
  • Excellent organization skills and time management
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Willing to learn, open to feedback


Wage:

$18.34/hour
