Carpenter / Working Foreman

This is a full-time on-site role will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction projects, operating and maintaining heavy equipment, communicating with team members and clients, and performing carpentry and general construction works

Responsibilities:

· Supervisory and Communication skills

· Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment

· Experience in Carpentry and Maintenance work

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

· Knowledge of construction safety rules and regulations

· Experience in managing construction projects

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

· Relevant certifications and licenses

- Supervise and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Manage and oversee the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of the project
- Schedule and coordinate labour, equipment, and materials needed for each project
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent leadership and management skills to effectively supervise construction crews
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Proficient in using construction tools and equipment
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during construction projects
